Hi – I recently found a wordpress plugin to emulate various column settings – as in a newsletter style blog. This is great for showing posts in various column formats – a la newsletter:-
Column 1 content here.
For a lot of people the introduction of a membership site is something of real interest.
One of the easiest ways, at the moment, of creating a membership site is to use a Wordpress Blog platform and one of the many membership plugins which are available.
The only drawback to this is the cost of the initial plugin – which can be anything from $67 upwards (the sky is the limit!)
And This is Column 2.
Website content and lead generation
One of the best ways to get leads through your website is to give the visitors information that they need without them knowing that they need it. Let’s face it – people don’t like to feel as if they are dumb. But if you give them information that is useful without them feeling as if they are being talked down to, it can really make them sit up and take notice.
For example, take a company that sells jewelry. Most everyone knows what the birthstones are for the different months of the year. But someone who has a jewelry website could offer a chart for different anniversaries. For example, the 40th wedding anniversary gemstone is ruby.
Even a mix of columns is possible – this now being a 3 column split (sorry for the lack of imagination in the examples!!) -

You can also have a four column setting – if your blog is wide enough to make it look good! Another great point here is that you can also have “uneven” column splits (widths) – you are not confined to “exact” widths. As long as your columns (and padding) don’t add up to more than 100% – you are fine to go!!
Don’t you just love this?
Take a look at the plugin site here . . . Sam’s Plugin Site!
Have fun with it! We certainly did!

Hey
What a fantastic plugin! I am developing a magazine style theme and this is just what I need for a particular section of the wordpress blog.
Excellent – Thanks again!
